The Bay Life Initiative

The Bay Life Initiative is a development plan that aims to make Colwyn Bay a better place to live and visit.

It's about more than just sprucing it up and making it look great on the surface.

It's about improving all the things that make a community. Things like transport, employment, health, housing, business and education. And tackling problems like crime and disorder.

By improving these things, the Bay Life Initiative aims to change the overall image of our town and create a town we can all be proud of, want to live in and want to visit. A place with ambition.

A place that embraces its surrounding natural beauty and a place with a strong sense of community.

Our vision for Colwyn Bay is a thriving, attractive and vibrant town that is welcoming, safe and friendly; a place with unique character that people are proud to live in.

We're well on the way to achieving this vision and so far the project has brought together over 30 community groups, 200 businesses and almost 800 local people.
